Attorney / Sana M. Din

BACKGROUND

Sana M. Din is counsel for the firm based in the Washington, D.C. area. Ms. Din focuses her practice on affordable housing finance transactions, with extensive experience representing lenders in multifamily and government-assisted housing financings, including transactions involving government-sponsored enterprises (GSEs). She has also spoken at American Bar Association conferences on affordable housing topics, including LIHTC transactions. Earlier in her career, Ms. Din served as bond counsel and underwriter’s counsel on a variety of public finance transactions involving cities, counties, charter schools, hospitals, and other governmental and nonprofit entities. Before attending law school, she worked at JPMorgan as an investment bank collateral specialist, where she gained experience in financial markets and collateral risk management. Ms. Din received her B.A. and B.S. from the University of Maryland and her J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School. She is licensed to practice in Washington, D.C.
