Attorney / Patrick L. Evatt

BACKGROUND
Patrick L. Evatt is a shareholder of the firm in the Austin office. A former Associate General Counsel for the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation, Mr. Evatt has a nationally recognized affordable multifamily housing finance and community development practice representing institutional lenders and credit enhancers. He also has extensive experience serving as bond counsel, issuer’s counsel, disclosure counsel, underwriter’s counsel and borrower’s counsel in a variety of tax-exempt and taxable financings for multifamily housing and community development projects. Mr. Evatt received his B.S. in Economics from the University of Washington in 1995 and his J.D. from the University of Nebraska College of Law (with high distinction) in 1998, where he served as managing editor of the Nebraska Law Review.
