GilmoreBell is pleased to announce that all eight public finance lawyers from the Salt Lake City office of Ballard Spahr LLP will open a new Salt Lake City office for GilmoreBell, effective January 3, 2017.
In addition, seven non-lawyer professionals from Ballard Spahr will also move to GilmoreBell’s Salt Lake City office. The Ballard lawyers, who represent some of the most recognizable bond counsel names in the Mountain West region, include Blake Wade, who opened the office for Ballard Spahr almost 30 years ago, Brad Patterson, Randy Larsen, Ryan Warburton, Preston Olsen, two shareholders and one associate. They have decades of experience as bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel, and disclosure counsel for clients throughout the U.S.
The new lawyers will increase GilmoreBell’s public finance practice to a total of 65 attorneys. With six offices located in five states, GilmoreBell has one of the largest public finance practices in the country. The Salt Lake City office will be located at 15 West South Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah 84101.
