BACKGROUND
David W. Bushek is a shareholder of the firm in the Kansas City office. Mr. Bushek has been in practice since 1994. Mr. Bushek is a member of the Missouri and Kansas Bar Associations. Mr. Bushek received his Bachelor or Arts from the University of Iowa in 1991 and his J.D. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1994. He received his Master of Urban Planning from the University of Kansas in 1996. Prior to rejoining the firm in 2026, he was the Chief Counsel of Economic Development & Planning for the City of Lee’s Summit, Missouri. He specializes in economic development, planning and zoning, land-use and municipal law. While in law school he was the Editor in Chief of The Urban Lawyer and was a member of the National Moot Court Team.
