BACKGROUND

Kenneth N. Beth is Of Counsel to the firm and works in the Champaign office. With over 40 years of experience representing municipalities and other units of local government in a wide variety of matters, Mr. Beth is known for his approach in providing creative solutions to various legal issues of concern in the communities he represents throughout the State of Illinois. His practice primarily focuses on municipal and public authority finance law, including in the area of tax increment allocation financing, special assessment and special service areas, and other development and redevelopment matters. Mr. Beth is licensed to practice in Illinois and is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the National Association of Bond Lawyers, and numerous other organizations. He received his B.A. from Valparaiso University in 1965, his J.D. from Valparaiso University in 1968 and his M.B.A. from the University of Illinois in 1979.
