Scott W. Anderson is a shareholder of the firm in the Kansas City office. Mr. Anderson has been practicing in the public finance area since 1998. Prior to joining Gilmore & Bell in 2002, Mr. Anderson was an associate at Dorsey & Whitney LLP in Des Moines, Iowa. Mr. Anderson is a member of the Missouri Bar Association, the Kansas Bar Association, the Iowa State Bar Association and the National Association of Bond Lawyers. Mr. Anderson is a member of the Olathe, Kansas Economic Development Council Advisory Board. Mr. Anderson is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Young Women’s Resource Center. Mr. Anderson received his B.B.A. (with distinction and honors) from the University of Iowa in 1994 and his J.D. (with distinction) from the University of Iowa College of Law in 1997, where he served as Managing Editor of the Iowa Law Review.
