Robert P. Ballsrud is a shareholder of the firm in the St. Louis Office. Mr. Ballsrud has practiced law as a municipal bond attorney since entering the law practice in 1981. During his legal career, he has specialized in the areas of tax-exempt bond and lease financing for state and local governments, hospitals and other private institutions. Prior to joining Gilmore & Bell, Mr. Ballsrud served as a law clerk to the Honorable Henry A. Politz on the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit. Mr. Ballsrud is a member of the St. Louis and Missouri Bar Associations, the National Association of Bond Lawyers and the Illinois C.P.A. Society. He was Editor-in-Chief of the Missouri Law Review.
