Richard M. Wright, Jr. is a shareholder of the firm in the Kansas City office. Mr. Wright has concentrated in securities law aspects of public and corporate finance since he joined the firm in 1992. Prior to that, he practiced in the securities law and corporate finance fields for 10 years as a member of the Corporate Finance Section of Shook, Hardy & Bacon, Kansas City, Missouri. Mr. Wright has been responsible for numerous public and private securities offerings, tender offers, going private transactions and acquisitions and divestitures of publicly- and privately-held businesses. From 1991-1992, Mr. Wright was Chairman of Midland Bank of Kansas and Vice Chairman of Midland Bank of Lenexa, affiliated Kansas City-area banks. Mr. Wright is a member of the Missouri Bar Association and the National Association of Bond Lawyers.
