James W. Winn is a shareholder of the firm in the Kansas City office. Mr. Winn has practiced in the area of public finance since 1974. His practice has been concentrated in public finance, including health care financings, educational facility financings, tax-exempt leasing, 63-20 not for profit corporation financings, industrial development bonds, municipal bonds and various creative financing techniques. He has served as bond counsel for numerous state and local agencies and authorities, cities and other political subdivisions as well as counsel to underwriters, credit enhancers and purchasers. Mr. Winn is a former director of the Association for Governmental Leasing and Finance and is a member of the Missouri Bar Association, the State Bar of California and the National Association of Bond Lawyers.
