Claire Halpern is a shareholder of the firm in the St. Louis office. Ms. Halpern has practiced law as a municipal bond attorney since 1980. During her legal career, she has specialized in the areas of tax-exempt bond financing for state and local governments and housing projects and has represented corporate trustees and credit enhancers in connection with bond financings. Prior to joining Gilmore & Bell, Ms. Halpern practiced municipal bond law with Thompson Coburn, St. Louis, Missouri (1979-1997) and served as a law clerk to the Honorable John F. Nangle on the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Missouri (1975-79). Ms. Halpern is a member of the St. Louis and Missouri Bar Associations and the National Association of Bond Lawyers.
